*  HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS

Hydraulic cylinders are made to operate at a pressure 5,000 p.s.i. with a test pressure of 5,200 p.s.i.  All cylinders have ductile iron pistons and glands with wear rings   installed.

  *  HOSES AND FITTINGS

Hoses and fittings conform to 4-bolt pad SAE-J5188 or SAE straight thread o-ring JIC-37.  All hoses are manufactured to an SAE standard and hose couplings are crimp-on type.  NPT fittings are not allowed (with the exception of the gauge port).

  *  MOTOR

The diesel motor is an air-cooled engine with an operating r.p.m. of 2,300.

*Anvil offers an upgrade to a water-cooled engine with an operating r.p.m of 2,300.

   *  RETURN FILTERS

Return filters are mounted outside of the reservoir for easy removal.  Filters are 10 micron (max) throw away type with color gauge indicator for visual inspection.

  *  HYDRAULIC PUMP

The hydraulic pump is a piston type with an operating pressure up to 3,800 p.s.i. and a r.p.m. rating of 2,300.  It is a variable displacement pump which is pressure compensated with load sense.

  *  PLATE AND BAR STOCK

A combination of T-1 alloy steel with a minimum yield of 100,000 p.s.i. and Brinell hardness of 321-360 and Tri-10 alloy with a minimum yield of 50,000 p.s.i. and a Brinell hardness of 280-321.  The proper steel is selected in particular areas where it is best utilized for strength, abrasive resistance, flexibility and weldability.
