Anvil's electro-hydraulic grapples are of an extremely rugged design to withstand the punishment of handling all grades of scrap iron. Advantages of the electro-hydraulic grapple are that it can be easily hooked up to a single hook type crane and that because its forces are generated hydraulically, it does not require the deadweight as does the cable driven grapples. These units are typically used for ships gear or overhead gantry cranes. With a wide variety of products ranging from ship and barge unloading to waste handling Anvil has the right product to fit your requirements.
